Join our Board of Directors
We’re looking for new Directors to help us grow in Bedfordshire.
Who we’re looking for people who:
- Live or work in Bedfordshire and have good local connections
- Care about reducing financial exclusion in the community
- Have knowledge of finance or banking
- have experience on a not-for-profit board
- Have a background in IT or law
Our board meets once a month on Zoom, with every third meeting in person in Bedford. The time commitment is about 5 hours a month.
We welcome people from all backgrounds and especially encourage applications from the global majority, LGBTQ+ community, people with disabilities, and women.
Directors must live or work within our Area of Common Bond.

Volunteer as a Customer Advisor
We’re looking for volunteers to help with everyday customer queries – like opening accounts, applying for loans, and handling transactions.
Experience in finance, accountancy, or customer service is helpful but not essential.
We welcome people from all backgrounds and especially encourage applications from the global majority, LGBTQ+ community, people with disabilities, and women.
Volunteers must live or work within our Area of Common Bond.
